Starting October 1, 2025, EverBee will begin collecting applicable tax on all subscription charges. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.
This is not a price increase from EverBee — your subscription prices remain the same. However, depending on your billing address, you may see an additional line item for tax on your invoices.
Applicable tax may include sales tax, VAT, GST, HST, or other regional taxes, depending on where you are located.
Who does this apply to?
- All EverBee users with active subscriptions.
- Both monthly and annual plans.
- Users with multiple subscriptions (for example, EverBee Research – Monthly Growth and EverBee Store – Monthly Essentials) will see applicable tax added to each plan individually.
Why is EverBee charging applicable tax now?
Many regions require SaaS companies to collect tax (such as sales tax, VAT, or GST) on subscription services. EverBee is updating its billing system to comply with these regulations.
This means the tax collected is remitted to your local tax authority — EverBee does not keep this amount.
How much will I be charged?
- Your base subscription price does not change.
- The amount of applicable tax depends on the billing address you have on file.
- You’ll see the tax amount calculated and added automatically on your invoice.
Example:
- EverBee Research – Monthly Growth: $29.99/mo → $29.99 + applicable tax
- EverBee Store – Monthly Essentials: $29/mo → $29 + applicable tax
When does this start?
Collection of applicable tax will begin on October 1, 2025.
- If you’re billed monthly, tax will appear on your October renewal and all renewals moving forward.
- If you’re billed annually, tax will be applied at your next annual renewal after October 1, 2025.
What do I need to do?
Most users don’t need to take any action. Your subscription will automatically include applicable tax where required.
However, we recommend:
- Reviewing your billing address in your EverBee account to ensure it’s accurate.
- Checking your next invoice after October 1 to see the breakdown.
