EverBee Store allows you to create and customize discounts, helping you attract more customers and drive higher sales. Offering discounts can encourage new buyers to purchase, reward loyal customers, and increase overall order value.
With EverBee Store, you can set up different discounts, such as percentage-based, fixed amount, depending on your marketing strategy.
To easily set up and manage discounts in your store, follow the steps below:
- In your Admin Dashboard, navigate to the Marketing tab
- Click on Discounts
- You will see a list of existing discounts (if any)
- To create a new discount, click on Add Discount
Once you click Add Discount, you will be presented with two options for the two types of discounts that are available, which are:
- Discount on Products: Apply discounts to specific products or collections.
- Discount on Order: Offer discounts based on the total order amount.
Setting up Discounts on Products
For a quick understanding of how this works, let us start with the Discounts on products. Below are the steps to learn how to set this up:
a. Choose the discount type, which, in this case, would be ‘’discounts on products.
b. Next, if you choose Discount Code, you have to create the discount title/promo code that customers can enter at checkout (e.g., VALENTINES25)
c. If you select Automatically, this means that the discount will be applied automatically when certain set conditions are met. The discount is applied to the product automatically, even before it is added to the cart. Also, the displayed price in your store will reflect the discounted amount.
Configuring the Discount Details
To set up the discount details, follow the steps below:
- Discount Code: If you are using a promo code, enter a name customers will use at checkout.
- Next is the Discount Value: Here, you choose whether the discount is a fixed amount ($) or a percentage (%) that will be deducted from the product price.
- Next, Set Minimum Purchase Requirements (Optional).
i. Minimum Quantity: A discount applies only when 2 or more items are purchased.
ii. Minimum Purchase Amount: The discount applies only if the total purchase is $30 or more.
- Next, proceed to Apply to: This means that the discount will be applied to specific products or your collections.
- Now, you have to set the Discount Duration. Choose how long you want to run the discounts for by selecting the start time and end time (optional).
- Next is the Maximum discount used, and there are two options under this, which are:
i. Total use limit for this discount - toggle (e.g, a discount can be used only 100 times).
ii. Limit to one use per customer - toggle (e.g, a discount can be used only once per email address).
Note: This is useful for stores with customer accounts. If login is not required, this option may not be effective.
- Lastly, there is the Combinations section. This gives you the option to choose whether a discount can be combined with other discounts, such as:
i. Product discounts
ii. Order discounts
iii. Shipping discounts
Once all settings are configured, click the Publish toggle. The discount will become active when the start date and time are reached.
